How Was It? |
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Church of Scientology Atlanta. The people were very warm, offered us drinks, and even supplied me with paper to take notes. The most interesting part of the experience was getting to take the Church of Scientology's personality test. I had no idea that the test would be 200 questions when initially expressing interest in taking it, but we were taken to a quiet room with two other guests and given an answer sheet to answer the questions. We were instructed to not spend too much time on an individual question and to answer as honestly as possible. The questions contained statements like "I rarely gossip about my friends", "I am generally happy", and "It worries me when I have several uncompleted projects". Our responses were indicated by marking a "+", "-", or an in between option, rating how much we agreed, disagreed, or were neutral with the statement. Afterward, our tests were scored by a woman working at a desk near the entrance of the test room. She took about thirty minutes to score the answer sheets. After this, she took my friend into a room to explain her results to her, which took another thirty minutes. Due to a time crunch, a man attempted to explain my and my other friend's results to us simultaneously. This had to be cut short. Overall, it was an interesting experience and my results are depicted in the chart below.
